On Friday, Derek Hough excitedly announced that Ariana Madix from Vanderpump Rules will be participating in season 32 of Dancing With the Stars. The revelation took place on Good Morning America, where Madix joined Hough, a judge on the show, to officially declare her involvement. Hough referred to the recent scandal called Scandoval, which unfolded on Vanderpump Rules, exposing Madix's boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, for cheating on her with their co-star, Raquel Leviss.
The complete cast of season 32 will be unveiled on September 13 on Good Morning America. This season marks the return of Dancing With the Stars to ABC after spending one season on Disney+. Additionally, it is the first season since the departure of long-time judge Len Goodman, who sadly passed away on April 24, 2023, at the age of 78, a few months after retiring.

Meanwhile, host Alfonso Ribeiro will be back on duty, alongside new co-host Julianne Hough, a former Dancing With the Stars pro. Ribeiro expressed his enthusiasm for the show's successful comeback during an interview with ET's Denny Directo in June. He shared that the previous season was viewed as a triumph and that ABC wanted the show back due to its unexpected success on Disney+. Ribeiro is thrilled to have Julianne Hough as his co-host, highlighting their excellent chemistry and long-standing friendship. He reminisced about Hough's previous role as a judge during his victorious 19th season on the show.
Both Ribeiro and Hough have a history with Dancing With the Stars, having competed and fulfilled various roles on the program. Ribeiro believes their energy and camaraderie will shine through to the audience, creating a fantastic dynamic on the show.
