Britney Spears and her estranged spouse Sam Asghari have reportedly come to an agreement regarding the division of custody for their five shared dogs. According to a report from TMZ on August 22nd, the former couple has settled on arrangements for their pets.
One notable decision is that the regal Doberman named Porsha, which Sam had originally gifted to Britney during their engagement, will remain under Sam's care. The report reveals that Sam was spotted walking the elegant dog on August 21st, without his wedding ring. In contrast, Britney will be retaining custody of her cherished Yorkie named Hannah, an Australian Shepherd referred to as Sawyer, and two other unnamed smaller dogs.
Sources indicate that both Sam and Britney are content with the mutually agreed-upon distribution of their furry companions. The TMZ report, published on Tuesday, highlights the satisfaction both parties feel regarding the arrangement.
Sam had previously discussed Porsha during an interview with HollywoodLife in December 2021, not long after his engagement with Britney had ended. He mentioned that he had surprised his fiancée with the puppy and praised Porsha as a beautiful and protective dog.
This development arrives roughly a week after the same news outlet first reported that Britney and Sam had parted ways following a significant disagreement allegedly stemming from infidelity concerns. Subsequent reports emerged, suggesting that Sam had threatened to disclose potentially damaging information about Britney if she did not revisit their solid prenuptial agreement. However, Sam's representative denied these claims. The reports also indicated that Sam had initiated divorce proceedings and had relocated from Britney's residence.
A day later, on August 17th, Sam officially confirmed the separation and released a formal statement through his Instagram account. He expressed his gratitude for the six years of love and commitment they shared and conveyed his well-wishes for Britney's future.
