Robin's death in 2014, at the age of 63, was attributed to suicide, stemming from his struggles with severe depression and Lewy body dementia. Recently, his children marked what would have been his 72nd birthday by sharing touching memories and sentiments on social media. Zelda Williams, Robin's daughter, even suggested that Robin would have supported the writers and actors' strike, referencing his participation in the 2007 picket line to advocate for screenwriters' rights.
